William Scott Boatman

Mr. Boatman is a graduate of Indiana University where he earned a BA in History with high distinction and a JD from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. As an undergraduate, Mr. Boatman earned Phi Beta Kappa status in the classroom while at the same time earning first team Academic All-Big Ten honors for his work on the football field where he started on the offensive line. Following receipt of his law degree, Mr. Boatman worked as an attorney with the firms Bose McKinney & Evans in Indianapolis and Fairfield & Woods P.C. in Denver, where he was involved in contract negotiations and litigation. Following this, Mr. Boatman served as General Counsel for Dutt Sports Services, Inc. (“DSSI”), where he helped negotiate approximately $1 billion in guaranteed NBA player salaries on behalf of numerous DSSI clients.
Mr. Boatman is currently the co-founder and General Counsel of ProNet Capital, LLC, a boutique private equity firm that capitalizes and manages both multifamily and high-end resort properties. The combined enterprise value of assets in which ProNet has equity and/or manages exceed $1bb.
Mr. Boatman has also invested or been engaged in a number of other private equity spaces, including: (a) Legal: as a co-founder of the National Litigation Law Group (“NLLG”), the country’s largest consumer defense law firm based in Oklahoma City, OK; (b) Professional Sports League: as the co-founder of the Pro-Aga, a professional golf league and association featuring former professional athletes, all of whom are competitive golfers and will play for significant purses; (c) Media: as the co-founder of the Pro Athletes Media Group (“AMG”), a media network consisting of 50+ pod casts featuring current and retired professional athletes; (d) Regulated Adult Use Cannabis: as an owner, investor, consultant, and attorney. Mr. Boatman currently is the controlling licensed owner of Pure Greens, LLC, one of Colorado’s largest cannabis cultivation businesses located on 26 acres in Salida, CO (puregreens.com). Pure Greens is vertically integrated and also owns six retail dispensaries throughout Colorado; and (e) Hemp Based Extraction: as co-founder of Cottonwood Sciences, LLC, a Crested Butte, Co. based company specializing in the extraction and postproduction of numerous hemp-based cannabinoids, including CBD, CBG, and CBN.
Mr. Boatman continues to maintain a small legal practice focused on representing current and former professional athletes and helping to oversee and manage their business affairs
Mr. Boatman serves on numerous boards of directors and managers for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Mr. Boatman lives in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado with his wife Cindy. They have two children, Thomas, a senior at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and William, a sophomore at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
